Community Amenities
The Piedmont Athletic Club offers Piedmont Homeowners Association ("Association") members adult and youth fitness activities and programs designed specifically for them. The Association's amenities include a staffed Athletic Club with personal trainers, free weights, resistance and cardio equipment, an aerobics room/exercise studio, locker rooms, one indoor pool, two outdoor pools, two tennis courts and one basketball court located off of Pennshire Drive in the Old Carolina Estates section of the community.  Services are provided by Corporate Fitness Works ("CFW"), a professional fitness management company.

To make a reservation, please:

  3. Click on "Available Classes" to view and schedule workout times.
Members are allowed to register for as many sessions as they want in a day and throughout the week. Members can only register for one workout station per session. Sessions are 45-minutes or 1-hour. Registration opens 48 hours before a session starts.
“Available Classes”- Every hour there are the workout stations listed: There are 5 Cardio slots (machines are first come first serve after reserving a spot). There is 1 sectorized machines station. There is 1 Free Weights Station in the main fitness room. There is 1 Free Weights Station in the Group Exercise room.

Equipment is cleaned in between sessions to maintain cleanliness and safety in the Athletic Club. You must sign a waiver the first time you utilize the fitness facility. Check in with the front desk before your session and then go enjoy your workout!
The swimming pools are currently operating under the governor's Virginia Phase 3 Mandatory Requirements.  This means that we have had to make some adjustments including reduced swimmer capacity, closing the wading pools, installing lane lines and "family zones", encouraging social distancing, limiting the furniture on the pool decks and clearing the pools for disinfecting every two hours.  We appreciate your patience and understanding in enabling us to meet these requirements and implement best practices.
The Athletic Club and Indoor and Main Outdoor Pools are located at 14651 Piedmont Vista Drive in Haymarket.  The Clatterbuck Loop Pool is located at 14030 Clatterbuck Loop in Gainesville.

     (ADA equipment; bordered by Sherman Oaks Court and Piedmont Vista Drive)
3.  MacIntosh Loop Tot Lot
     (MacInstosh Loop)
4.  Clatterbuck Loop Tot Lot
     (adjacent to the Clatterbuck Loop Pool Complex at 14030 Clatterbuck Loop)
5.  Pennshire Drive Tot Lot 
     (bordered by Pennshire Drive and Heathcote Boulevard)
6.  Pennshire Drive Sports Court
     (north of Pennshire Drive and accessible by asphalt trail).
